Characteristics:
1.-The length of the body is 120 cm
2.-It reaches a wingspan of 300 cm and a weight of about 12 kg.
3.-Its bill is creamy-white at the end and black at the base.

Habitat:
The Andean condor inhabits the coastal mountains and montane types of habitats in the Andes mountains of South America. This species has been located at elevations of up to 5,500 m. The Andean condor rests on cliffs, rocky ledges or in small caves, where it also nests.
The condor is an almost exclusively scavenger animal, it feeds on all kinds of large dead animals, such as: llamas, alpacas, deer, cows, etc. For this reason, its head and neck are devoid of feathers, to avoid bacteria and fungi. from spoiling meat to causing disease.

Among the main causes that threaten the Andean condor we have:
*Loss of habitat.
*Poisoning.
*Competition for food with feral and poorly cared for domestic dogs.
*Illegal hunting.
*Lack of food within the National System of Protected Areas (SNAP) and other natural areas of public administration.
Prevention or conservation measures to avoid extinction
1.-It is important not to trespass their space if you come across one closely and not to feed them.
2.-Obey the rules and do not hunt or catch them.
3.-Don't harm their habitat
