In this book we will learn about a device that detects contaminated meat without having any damage in our health. What effects can be caused by eating contaminated meat? how can meat get contaminated? We are going to see the consequences of selling and producing contaminated meat and some interesting facts about contaminated meat. The contamination of the meat comes from external source during bleeding, handling, processing, skinning, and cutting. The main sources of microorganisms are the body parts of the animal and the intestinal tract. The psychotropic bacteria may also contaminate meat. In addition, there are some techniques of technology that can help to recognize if the meat is in good condition to eat or not.This device that we create helps you see the expiration of the meat if it is in good condition or not. It also can help you know the properties of the meat. This is a part of what are we going to see.

The first thing you have to do to use this product is the following. First, take your product, turn on the bar scanner and scan the bar code, because that bar code will pass the data to the printer. After that, it is already printed, turn on the camera of your phone and scan the QR code through the reader to give it the price and expiration. This will have a big impact on the whole world because it will change entire lives. Honest companies will increase their money by the people who trust more in them, but the dishonest companies will be in bankruptcy, because people will not buy meat that damages themselves. So the dishonest companies will fall, they will have a bad image to the public. The community will sue them so that contaminated meat doesn’t arrive to their homes. The device will be at $1000 pesos, it will be very inexpensive and easy to use for everyone.

Yes, because their job is to do an extreme evaluation of the meat with accuracy, if they didn’t do this job, we will be consuming contaminated meat and we will be sick everyday, this job is important because they put their eye very closely to the meat, so the meat can come safely to the estate, then the supermarkets or markets and then our homes, so we can eat meat with security and peace because we know that the meat has already been check by professional’s. Maybe their are not doctors but our health depend of their jobs.

The device that will be used will bring the function of a thermometer that will indicate whether the meat or the product needs to be frozen. You will use a QR and bar reader to identify the expiration date, the QR reader will serve to identify the company that manufactured the meat, and what animal it comes from and how reliable it is for consumption. Container to the data center that includes the device from its manufacture will have a microscopic and normal camera. The microscopic camera will serve to identify pathogenic bacteria within the meat and the normal camera will serve to detect the texture and color of the meat. The device will include a printer that will be used to print the packaging QR code to the results presented by the microscopic and normal camera.

We use a scientific method to perform different test, so we can approach to find answers that are logical and supported by evidence.

To detect the bad state of a meat it can be done by odor, texture, color and flavor but it doesn’t have to be noticed in its external appearance, because even with good appearance and odor it can contain pathogenic bacteria.

Hypothesis: If people trust more on themselves to detect contaminated meat than a device, they will not try to get used to the device because they will have more experience with their senses than a device, which has just been released, however new people cooking will use the devices more because they don’t have experience with their senses like people who have a lot of years cooking.

Experiment: To determine a method to test, we will give the device to 10 people with different ages, from 20-90 years old so it would be 2 trials, in the first trial, 5 persons will be given the device to detect meat in a bad state and the other 5 will use their senses, and on the second trial it will be reversed.

Conclusion: To determine the conclusion, we will need to analyze the results to see if the participants prefer using the device or their senses. To illustrate the results, we will indicate them with percentages and will be illustrated on a graphical bar.

Some physical properties that our device is going to measure are the following:

1. Boiling Point: Your meat has to be heated in water that has already reached the boiling point.

2. Color: The spectrophotometer of the device will detect the color of the meat.

4. Hardness: It can help, to know how old the meat is or if is new and how much time on has in sale and it has a lot of time expired or contaminated , it been of the hardness of the meat, and with the device that we made we can calculate the hardness.

5. Temperature: In our device we can see if the meat is still able to eat because of the temperature. For example with the device that prints the QR code, we will scan it and we can measure the cold and the hot of meat and it can help us see if it is able to eat it.

6. Length: Our device will detect the length of the meat with the camera, with this procedure we will know if its more probably that the meat has pathogenic bacteria.

7. Weight: If we put our meat on a scale and its weight is a lot and it has blood, we have to check if the blood is not contaminated because if the blood is contaminated, the meat will be too.

8. Mass: Before we cook the meat, we have to cut the fat mass that is surrounded around the meat, because if it is contaminated, make us sick.

9. Odor: If the meat odor is very strong, you can’t buy it because it will probably be contaminated and you will get sick.

10. Texture: Our device will detect the texture of the meat with the cameras, that will be very important, because the device will tell us if it’s good for consumption or if it’s bad.
