If I do method 2, where I put the ice in a bowl of hot water, then maybe the ice will melt faster.

Step 1
PROCEDURE
In each ziplock pack, put one ice cube.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Put one ziplock pack in a bowl of hot water to complete method 2
Step 3
› 2 ice cubes
› 2 ziplock packs
› 1 bowl of hot water
› a stopwatch (phone)
Put one ziplock pack aside to complete method 1.
Step 3
Get your stopwatch, take notes, and compare which method melts the ice faster.

In doing method 1, where the ice was untouched, took 36 minutes to melt.

Right after I put the ziplock pack in the warm water
When the ice finally melted
In doing method 2, where the ice was in the bowl of hot water, took only 3 minutes to melt. When I also put my finger in the water, it felt a bit colder than before I put the ziplock bag.
