Reason for Founding!

William Penn, a peaceful man who was also a Quaker, wanted freedom for all Quakers. He took the land that Charles the second owed his father but gave to him, and made Pennsylvania . Penn treated everyone equal (even Indians) which made it a very popular place to live!

Pennsylvania also was very popular for fur trade!

Come to the Middle Colonies! We have rich soil which is great for farming, unlike New England where they have rocky soil and rocky coastlines.

Some of our natural resources include coal, copper, iron, and timber forests! We have way better farming than New England and the Southern colonies because of our rich soil and great land!

In the Middle Colonies, there are many ways to make money! Some of these ways are Fur trading, farming, mining, selling lumber, sailing, and being a merchant! Unlike the New England Colonies where they can only fish and sell lumber, we have many different ways to make money if you can't fish.

U Penn!

U Penn is an amazing IV league school! It is home to the U Penn Quakers who are the schools football team. They are called the U Penn Quakers because William Penn made Pennsylvania for Quakers who wanted to live safely and freely. You have to be very smart to get into an IV league school, so that shows you that U Penn is a very advanced school for only very smart people. Anyone would be very lucky to get into U Penn for college.
