When I Said Goodbye

It was September 1st 1939 in Warsaw Poland when the first attack of WWII happened. Hitler’s soldiers started calling in airstrikes around my hometown. They started taking people in as slaves. During the bombing, my dad and house were in an incident.

At that time I was ten. I asked my mom in a devastated manner “What’s going to happen to us?” She replied by saying “Everything is going to be ok.” I heard my mom’s voice with franticness. We became peevish and subsided.

We were desperate for awning. We started to conceal. I felt I had no intention and started being paternal. I was intrigued by why Germany would attack Poland . The more I thought about it the more distracted I got. As the days passed by, the more ideas I got, until they took me away.
Hitlers soldiers ambushed the camp and I got goosebumps. I thought this was the end. But after committing homicide 27 times they finally left. So everyone including Chad started helping out to upgrade the camp. The special forces of Poland said that the Germans would be back.
Took Me Away

The special forces of Poland separated me and my mom. They took me to a special camp in the forest. I felt exasperation in me. All the kids were annoying. I felt I was a needle in a haystack, everybody ignored me.

I was really stressed out. Nobody would talk to me. I was always bullied by this one kid called Chad. I would always tell him “Quit bullying, you wouldn’t like it if somebody did it to you.” His response was “And who would that be.” Until the ambush.

A week passed by and it was fine. Everything was smooth sailing. Until the second week the Germans attacked again. They were stronger than last time. They said “Surrender or else face the consequences” in German. So we had to surrender and they took us in.
Some Hope

While held captive, they put us in complete isolation. Before they did, the captain of The special forces of Poland said “Let us go NOW!” Before he could finish his sentence a soldier shot him in the head. So late at midnight some of the kids and I made a plan so we started making noise. Later a couple of soldiers came by and we ambushed them and took the keys.
At sunrise we woke up the others early. We told them “Last night we ambushed some soldiers.” They were surprised and kind of releafed. We got disguised as soldiers and left the room. We found a map of the place in one of the soldiers's coats.

I told them not to rush through because the other soldiers would notice something is fishy. But Chad was scared so he started running and while he was running he bumped into some soldiers and then BOOM. A soldier shot him in his lungs and he died. After that a kid from the group said “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIEEEE. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES AHHHHHHHHH.” After that they noticed us and sprinted at us with their full speed. A member from the group said “Why did you say that we’re SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEWED”. A person replied “I’M TOO YOUNG TO DIE.” So then we hid and…… .

A Little Plan

And after a while they found us but one of the leaders of The Special Forces Of Poland had a Glock-17 and shot a German soldier dead in the eye. A kid shouted out “Strike one.” Which alerted the other soldiers. The only thing was to run or get slaughtered by the soldiers. After that I called out “RUUUUUUUUUUUN.” We sprinted ferociously as if we were being attacked by cheetahs.

We ran but they caught up so I told everybody “To the kitcheeeeeen.” I was the last one so when we entered the kitchen a soldier told me “Any last words.” I replied by saying “I have 2 words to say and everybody has to hear them FOOOOOOOOOD FIGHT.” He said, “What?”
Everybody started grabbing food and throwing it on the German soldiers. We used metal trays as shields. We also used the kitchen bowls as armor and kitchen knives as swords. We acted as if it was a DO OR DIE. We started fighting for our lives until…… .
When There’s A Will There’s A Way

They started getting dizzy from all the food and they were losing soldiers one-by-one. Some soldiers started running away. They said “IT’S NOT WORTH IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!” So we went to the exit. We started running at our full speed and we made it out. But when we thought we were alone the assistant of The Special Forces Of Poland who was a traitor did the unthinkable. She slaughtered all of my companions but I got away unharmed and left the country.

6 years later the war ended and the world was redeemed. I have foster parents now and live in Manchester, England. But nobody knows what’s to come next.
