Fireflies

Did you know fireflies live in dry places? They live by themselves. Fireflies live all over the world except Antarctica. There mostly live by ponds, lakes, rivers and streams. They also live in rotting wood.

Did you know that fireflies have lanterns on their backs? They have flat bodies. They have wings to help them fly. I have a head ,thorax And abdomen. They Flash their lanterns to find each other.They have mixed chemicals In their lanterns.
