Hello!
Welcome to our Student Government information and activity book! Our Student Government consists of students from third to fifth grade and we met virtually every other Monday throughout the school year. Most of the projects we worked on were student-driven. It was a little challenging to come up with ways we could support our community in this Covid environment but we were able to do some really wonderful and fun activities. My favorite is the Valentine's Day video of cards for the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. If you would like to see the video, you will find it on our website: https://ps14.org/index.php/student-government/
We hope you enjoy our book! Have a wonderful summer!

This activity book was put together by the P.S. 14 Student Government. We wanted to share the things we did during the school year, our art, poems, book recommendations and puzzles with all our fellow classmates and families. We hope you enjoy it!!

Valentine’s Day Project
The Student Government and students of P.S. 14 created valentine’s day cards that Ms. Susy put into a video to send to the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. The animation at the end was created by a 2015 P.S. 14 graduate and former CHAM patient, Joey DiCecco. Our video was played on the TV screens at Montefiore for the children and staff.

March Project
The NYC Department of Education (DOE) Disability Pride Visual Arts Contest celebrates the challenges and achievements of people with disabilities in their struggle for equity and equal access, opportunity, and inclusion. Students were invited to develop visual representations of what the phrase, “Nothing About Us Without Us,” means to them. This was our Student Government submissions:
