_____INTRODUCTION
Gymnastics is a very athletic sport.
People who do gymnastics must be advanced and have courage. Gymnastics is one of the most advanced sports. I started gymnastics when I was five years old. I have been doing it for six years now. Gymnastics can help you develop other skills such as, flexibility and dance.

FRONT HANDSPRINGS
Front handspring's are a very advanced technique in gymnastics. I can do a front handspring. Personally from experience, it took me 3 hours to learn a front handspring. A front handspring is a running handstand into a walkover then put it together and do it really fast.
BACKBENDS
Backbends are one of the most basic exercises in gymnastics. The first skill I knew in gymnastics was a backbend. While doing a backbend, you can start from standing or laying your back on the floor. I can do it both ways but I usually start from the floor.
CARTWHEELS
Cartwheels are a skill in gymnastics that gymnasts perform in level 1. By level 4 a gymnast should also know how to do a cartwheel to 3/4 handstand dismount on the beam. I know how to do all of these skills.
HANDSTANDS
Handstands are the most important skill in gymnastics because you have to learn it in Level 1 and master it to move on to the other Levels. This is one of the first things you will learn when you start gymnastics.
