The composer who depicted "Four Seasons" with his music.
Antonio Vivaldi was born in Venice in 1678.

He lived during the Baroque era (1600 - 1750).
With his music

he influenced a lot of composers of his age

such as Johann Sebastian Bach,

and subsequent ones.

His father, Giovanni Battista Vivaldi was a barber.

He also was a musician of St. Mark's Orchestra,

so he taught him to play the violin.
In 1703, when he was 25 years old,

he became a priest

because during those hard times

a musician could not earn his living.

Although in 1705 he resigned

for health reasons,

he acquired the nickname

"the red priest"

because of his bright red hair.
In 1703 he was appointed as

a violin professor and chief musician

at the girls' orphanage

"Ospedale della Pietà"

in Venice.

There, he taught violin

for almost thirty years,

composing religious music.
