Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17th 1706. He had 16 brothers and sisters! He was interested in lighting so he wanted to learn more about it. So he invented the lighting rod. He also invented bifocals. And one more thing that he did was found out that lighting was electricity. He was a important man in history!

Alexander was born on March 3rd 1847 in Edinburgh United Kingdom. He invented the telephone!
On June 2nd 1875 was when he created the Harmonic Telegraph. The first words said over the harmonic wire was Bell asking for his assistance Watson because he spilt battery acid on himself.
He was a professor at a college. He also made switch boards to connect lots of phones together.

Philo Fransworth

Philo was born on August 19th 1906. He invented the television. He came up with the idea when he was just a teenager. One day he was plowing a potato field making rows in straight lines and that's when he got the idea that images could be in a straight line also and didn't have to be broken up. That's how he came up with images that were scanned electronically in a camera tube. Those tubes were used in tvs for a long time. Everyone loves TV so it was a big HIT!

Thomas Edison was born on February 11 1847. He spent his whole life making inventions and made over 1,000! Thats a lot! but he is most famous for inventing the light bulb.

The Wright Brothers were Wilbur who was born on April 16th 1867 and Orville who is a little younger than his brother was born on August 19th 1871. They invented the airplane!
