Com a participação no projeto “Climate Change Awareness: Air and Rivers” (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/123485/home), queremos expandir o conhecimento dos nossos alunos sobre as alterações climáticas e desenvolvimento sustentável ao participarem em atividades de aprendizagem online centradas na Geografia, Biologia, Filosofia e Ética. No primeiro ano do projeto, vamos trabalhar assuntos relacionados com a qualidade do ar e dados meteorológicos.

Pretendemos ainda:
· consciencializar para a importância dos nossos hábitos de consumo, as escolhas que se fazem diariamente e que põem em causa a sustentabilidade do planeta;
· incentivar os contactos com colegas de outros países europeus (Reino Unido, Suécia, Turquia, Polónia e Itália), reforçando as capacidades de usar o inglês como língua estrangeira;
· utilizar a tecnologia digital de maneira criativa, colaborativa e eficiente.

Através da troca de ideias e de documentos, da realização de filmes e de reportagens fotográficas, os jovens trabalharão temas relacionados com os conteúdos de aprendizagem das disciplinas, usando o inglês como língua de comunicação, desenvolverão simultaneamente as suas competências no domínio das TIC e poderão fortalecer a sua consciência intercultural e ambiental.

By participating in the project “Climate Change Awareness: Air and Rivers” (https://twinspace.etwinning.net/123485/home), we want to expand our students' knowledge about climate change and sustainable development by participating in learning activities online centered on Geography, Biology, Philosophy and Ethics. In the first year of the project, we will work on issues related to air quality and meteorological data.

We also intend to:
· to raise awareness of the importance of our consumption habits, the choices that are made daily and that jeopardize the sustainability of the planet;
· encourage contacts with colleagues from other European countries (United Kingdom, Sweden, Turkey, Poland and Italy), strengthening skills in using English as a foreign language;
· use digital technology in a creative, collaborative and efficient way.

Through the exchange of ideas and documents, the making of films and photographic reports, the young people will work on themes related to the learning contents of the subjects, using English as a language of communication, they will simultaneously develop their skills in the field of ICT and will be able to strengthen their intercultural and environmental awareness.
