South Korea hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics. South Korea first participated in 1948 in London, England. They have won 85 gold, 82 silver, and 79 bronze medals since they have participated. South Korea is located between the Yellow Sea and the East Sea.

Ski Jumping is a popular sport in the Olympics. The first place winner was Katharina Althaus from Germany. She jumped 104 meters. Second place went to Daniela Iraschko-Stolz from Australia. She jumped 103.5 meters. Ema Klinec from S​lovakia got third place, and jumped 102 meters.
