Carl woke up in the wake of the new day. Hitting his alarm clock he rose to his feet, fixed his hair and prepared himself for day. Making his way down the hall he saw his mother standing in the middle of the kitchen reading off a grocery list she had wrote she must have repeated it several times under her breath as the light of the sun touched her thick brown hair and as mother natures air blew her gown. An empty pill bottle beneath her feet rolled around like a rubber ball, ignoring his mother he made his way to the fridge grapped juice and poured himself a glass. Turinging around his mother was gone, she had went back to sleep something she does on the daily.

He decided that he was going to leave and head off into the world never coming back, grabbing his suitcase he packed and packed and packed until he was finally ready to leave.

The cold breeze hit his face as he walked down an endless street that would take him to the unkown, He lit up his marijuana but decided that he was going to give up his bad habits starting off fresh as a new man besides it gave him a headache. Endless possiblities surrounded him, and instead of feeling trapped and isolated in his own mind he felt free and happy for the very first time. Why hadn't he done this along time ago? Why did he take those years of pain that could have been resolved so easily? Sitting in a park he found the answer as he watched caring mothers play with there children, such a connection a mother and there child has, a loving feeling that not a soul could destroy something he had yearned for all those years, he finally now accepted that he'll never have it, walking towards the setting sun he laughed and laughed..
