Project's Description

Τhe e -book "looking back: The history of our hometown and our school" was a result of our efforts to get to know more about our city's past and how it was evolved across time. The activities took place at a distance learning program during March 2021 and that was a meaningful choice because of the 200 years from the 1821 revolution. the historical 1821 that we honor this year is a great chance for us to investigate our past. In our case this revealed the refuge background of our hometown and raised crucial issues that we worked on later on.
Moreover, sharing this work with the participant schools of the Εtwinning program "Teachers4Europe: Setting an Agora for democratic culture: Living, Learning, Loving" and seeing their relative work gave all of us the chance to locate similarities and feel close to one another.

What you can find in this book is the narrations of the students in relation to the history of Panorama, games with Ifigenia in order to have fun and check your knowledge and finally a very interesting interview that the students took from a grandmother and a mother about a historical school building, Petrino.

Closing this short description of the project we should underline the hopes of the students of Panorama for the other e-twinners of the program to enjoy the games they prepared for them in order to learn their history.

A small settlement of refugees was the first region of Panorama city.
When the refugees arrive there was just a totally empty space. No water, no electricity, no trees!
