Gilbert glided noisily from tree to tree.
The gliders and the tree kangaroos, started to grumble.

"Go to sleep Gilbert!" they said.

"Go to sleep Gilbert!" the animals said "We don't want to play!"
Gilbert woke his friend, Tommy the tree kangaroo, "Come and play!" he said.
"Go to sleep Gilbert!" Tommy said, "I don't want to play!"
Gilbert turned to the other animals, "Come and play!" he said.
"Go to sleep Gilbert!" the animals said "We don't want to play!"

"Everyone!" he yelled down the tree.
"Go to sleep Gilbert!" the whole canopy chorused.

With Gilbert in the lead, the animals hopped, jumped, and glided from the hot tongue of the fire.
The younger ones couldn't see through all the smoke!

But luckily for them, they could hear Gilbert's strong voice, and all the noise he was making.
