A modern heron is compared to the Baryonyx because they both stand in shallow water. Like the heron, the baryonyx caught its prey with its jaws.

Baryonyx  lived  in  England  and  Europe.

The Baryonyx had a spoon-shaped mouth at the end to hold slippery fish, and also ate other dinosaurs.

Baryonyx had spikes from head to tail, and big claws on each hand.The Baryonyx is 32 ft long, had crocodile jaws,and was a big dinosaur.

The Baronyx stood ankle-deep in the water. The Baryonyx snapped a fish up using it's long jaws.
