The Internet of Things describes the network of physical objects that are embebbed with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. They can be used everywhere, especially in your home. They are meant to connect your objects or things in real life with your phone and wi-fi, so you can control them no metter where you are. The primary goal of the Internet of Things is to create self-reporting devices that can communicate with each other in real time. I don't have them in my home, but I would love to. The risk can be not having control over them, so they can do what they want without your permission.

Typical everyday objects are vehicles, home appliances and wearables, while on a commercial level, they include smart devices for stock control, plant optimization or environmental monitoring. I probably have them.

It is a term that refers to billions of physical devices around the world equipped with sensors and software, which are currently connected to the Internet to collect and share data. It allows data to be transmitted over the Internet without requiring interaction between humans or between humans and computers. Smart home, agriculture, industry and transport, retail trade, health and more. I don't have that in my house. The advantage is that we can do things in the house from a distance. IoT allows us to do all this in a quick way. the risk is that some error in the system can be parted, hackers can hack our system and then we no longer have control over it.
