This magazine is the final product of one of the many activities belonging to the Erasmus+ project "Don't wait to see the destruction".

In the comprehensive school Giuseppe Giusti Sinopoli there are 9 buildings: 5 Kindergardens, 3 Primary Schools and a the Middle School. The name of our Middle School is Diodoro Siculo. The building of the school is very big, but it has been under renovation for two years…
For this reason we are guests in a convent with 14 cosy classrooms, 238 kids, a broad hall, high and narrow gates and a big playground where we can’t jump or run because of safety problems…
School is the first place where new friends are made and it helps in learning new things. Creative approches are used to learning while encouraging kids to think outside the box.
All types of students are accepted and are treated with respect. Students with special needs are welcome, the atmosphere is peaceful and everyone love attending our school!

AGRUPAMENTO DE ESCOLAS VIALONGA

AEV Vialonga includes approximately 2200 students including adult education and training. They Educational Priority Interventional Territory (EPIV) is being implemented in the school, which consists of an intervention plan based on identified difficulties and priorities, additional human resources, teacher training and "critical friend".
As it was mentioned before, they not only teach general education curriculum. They also teach professional courses, music and orchestra lessons, adult teaching, unit for students with special needs, European projects and school sports.
It is a public school involving all the grades of the Portuguese Education System. From kindergartens to secondary school.
Their main goal is to reduce premature school dropout and absentism, providing each student the oportunity to learn followint different educational paths, imporoving their digital competences for studying or getting a job.
Another goal is to raise happy and active citizens.

Mehmet Zeki Yazici Ortaokulu is a primery school located in age Göynüklü village next to Mudanya (province Bursa).
It has about 90 students from the 5th to 8th grades. It has about 10 teachers and we are together with the primary school students in the same building.
The school has just one building where students interact between each others and they also have a very big playground were many activities take place.
