Wow I can't believe this happened in my Neighborhood!

In the Whittier neighborhood you can go to amazing schools that provide amazing information about black activists such as Madam C.J. Walker and many others.

Did you know that Madam C.J. Walker used to live in the Whittier Neighborhood on 1900 East 30th Avenue in 1905 and her house still stands as of today.

She came here with only 1.25$ to her name, and left Denver the first black entrepreneur who became a millionaire. Due to her black hair care products know as "Madam Walkers Wonderful Hair Grower".

In my community there are lots of things to see and learn about such as the light rail which is a train that connects with other trains all over Colorado.
