Siddhartha Gautama,The lord Buddha,was born in 623 B.C.In the gardens of Lumbini, witch soon became a place of pilgrimages.It was important because it was the birthplace of the Buddha.

kushinagar is a town in the district of the Indian state.People say that this building was were the Buddha has his ashes spreading there.

Sarnath Was a place in India were the Buddha was Teaching the people about the suffering  of the others.

Then, he taught other people to be good and respect others people and be truthful and to live good lives and do good deeds. 

Siddhartha was born into a royal family in Nepal. He never saw anyone suffering.

Eventually he got married, and had children andhe went outside and saw a sick, dead and poor man. 

Dressed as a monk, he went to meditate under the Bodhi tree.

Next, Siddhartha saw a holy man dressed in rags and he was so calm.

These four sights were a turning point for Siddhartha. He gave all his riches away.

Siddharta was a wealthy boy who was never allowed out of his palace. He never saw anyone suffering. As he grew older, he had babies and was a man. As he was old, he though of finally going outside the palace for once.

When he walked outside, he saw the suffering of an old man, a poor person and someone who has an illness. When he got back in his palace, he thought about leaving his palace behind and looking out further for another meaning of life. He sat under a tree and started to meditate until he found a new meaning, and until he did, he became wise and enlightened. He started to teach other people the meaning aswell and they started to call him "Buddha" and "Teacher".

Siddartha was born in a royal family and he never saw any one suffering he had a perfect family. One day he grew up and he wanted to know what was on the other side of the palace wall so he decided to see what was on  the other side because he said to himself that he is old enough to see the real world. So when he stepped out all he saw was poor people, old people and dead people, Siddartha was shocked for what he saw, so he went and medetated, he promised to himself he will not stop medetating  in till he found the truth. Then a couple weeks go by and then he becomes a teacher, people used to call him buddha or teacher because he taught them how to lead lives by being truthful.

Sarnath is a place where the Buddha went after he was enlightened to teach what he had learnt to more people. What he taught is now known as Darhma. Also, in Sarnath there is a pillar called Ashoka's pillar&nbsp;where he said his first sermon after enlightenment.

Kushinagar is the place where the budha was cremated. He spent a lot of his life teaching others about the Darhma he had discovered. Then he died, achieving at the age of 80 in Kushinagar

Lumbhini (in Nepal)is the place where the buddha was born. This place is a pilgrimage site for budhists. There is also a big pillar here called the Ashoka Temple. It is said that the pillar was put there because the buddha was born

Bodh Gaya is the place where the Buddha was enlightened. There is a tree near it which is a descendant of the tree buddha sat beneath.

There was a boy called Siddartha who was born into a royal family in Nepal. He lived a privileged palace life but he never saw people and had never been outside the palace. After some years he got married and had children so he decided he should go outside the palace. When he went out he saw an old man, a sick man and a dead man. This made him realize that even if you are rich, these three things still happen. Not long after he saw a holy man with very little belongings. Siddartha was confused why he was so peaceful when the holy man had almost nothing. Seeing these 4 people taught him that.

According to legend, everywhere the baby Buddha stepped, a lotus flower bloomed. Different-colored lotuses have different meanings. The white lotus represents mental purity and spiritual perfection. The red lotus is the symbol of love and compassion. The blue lotus represents wisdom and intelligence . A gold lotus represents the achievement of complete enlightenment.

Many fellow monks came and watched him, and he taught them to live their lives, be truthful, and do good deeds. Therefore people called him teacher, also known as Buddha.
