Definition: Missionaries are a group of people that go to other countries, towns and places so they can covert people, help people who are homeless and need assistance and trying to spread the word of Christianity.

A chapel is smaller than a church and is another place of worship for Christians. It is mostly seen in villages or maybe even towns.

The missionaries are providing people with medical support.

A church is bigger than a chapel but smaller than a cathedral. A church is mostly seen in towns near a big population.

These are the tents that provide shelter due to natural disasters.

A cathedral is massive. It is bigger than a chapel and a church. They are only to be seen in cities because a lot of members from the public can come and pray.

These people were provided food to eat because they were starving from being homeless and addicts.

Missionaries are people that help others eg. by giving homeless food and shelter. They talk to people in prisons to make them happy, they teach kids, they help people with medical support.

They spread the word of Christianity all around the world and they help people with their addictions and  make people safe at night. They provide education for all around the world.

A church is a place that you pray in, you can sleep there, you eat there, its normally shaped like a cross.

A cathedral is a famous place that is used a lot by the king and queen, some of the royal family get married there.

Missionaries are people that travel to diffrent places to help people and tell people about Christianty.

1. The chaple is church but much smaller and a not a lot of people go there.

2. The church is much bigger then a chaple and much more people go there.

The Salvation Amy are Missionaries who are people that help homeless with food, shelter and medical support. They also help prisoners and provide education to children.

3. A cathedral much bigger then a church and lots of people go there.

Missionaries are people that have been sent on a mission of helping people and spreading the word of Christianity. They do things like helping homeless people by giving them food and shelter, visiting prisoners so that they are no lonely, convincing people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol to stop, providing education to people who don't have that opportunity, helping rebuild houses that have been destroyed by natural disasters, helping with health care by giving medicine and so much more.

A cathedral is a really big place of christian worship. If there is one in a place, the place is considered a city. It is for public use and usually important things happen there like when there is a royal marriage. A bishop is in charge of it.

In Year 6 we have been learning about how Christians lead a Christian life. We learnt and found out about missionaries and what they do, how they help others and spread the Christian word.

We also looked at the similarities and differences between a church, chapel and cathedral. Several children in Year 6 go to church on a weekly basis!
