The Witches by Roald Dahl The main characters were the witches, Luke's grandmother, and Luke. A very interesting thing was that Luke was turned into a mouse. Other interesting things were that the witches wore ordinary clothes, worked at ordinary jobs, but hated children! I think others will like this book because it's an exciting story and has a lot of adventure. Reviewed by Kai

Minecraft Guide to Creative by Mojang Ab and others There are actually no main characters. This book is a guide to Minecraft. It is the guide to Creative Mode. It teaches you how to build a house and all about the different types of them. I think people will like this book because not many people play Minecraft. The Trumpet of the Swan by E. B. White The main characters are Sam and the swans. Chapter 4 is called Cygnets and baby swans are born. There were 5 cygnets. I thought the book was exciting because I have been reading this book and hearing about the cygnets. When I saw the chapter called Cygnets, I got so excited! I've been waiting for them to be born. Share Some Kindness, Bring Some light by Apryl Stott The main characters are Bear and Coco. In the book, Bear is either getting scared by or getting turned away by other grumpy animals. What also happens is there's a phrase that Coco says, "Share some kindness, bring some light." She tries to give the animals that, but they completely miss the point! The book was brave and heartwarming because even though Bear was scared, he showed the animals how kind he really was. Then the animals thanked Bear. I Don't Want to Be a Frog! by Dev Petty The main characters are the father and son frog. The son frog wants to be anything other than a frog until he meets a wolf who wants to eat everything but a frog. Then the son likes being a frog. The book is funny because the illustrations are funny and the characters are adorable (except the wolf who is frightening). Reviewed by Juliette

Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne The main character is Winnie the Pooh. My favorite part is when Winnie and Piglet found Eeyore looking for his tail. They found it at Owl's house. I think others will like this book because Winnie, Piglet, and Eeyore are funny. Reviewed by Piper

Amelia Bedelia Road Trip by Herman Parrish This book is part of the Amelia Bedelia series. In Road Trip, Amelia Bedelia goes on vacation with her family. They call it roaming. Judy Moody Gets Famous by Megan McDonald My book is about a girl named Judy Moody trying to get famous since Jessica Finch got her face in the newspaper. The main characters are Judy, Stink, Mom, and Dad. This book is funny. I think a lot of people would like this book. I think it's a very good book to read when you have nothing to do. Dog Days (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) by Jeff Kinney The two main characters in this book are Greg and Rowley. It's summer vacation, and Greg thinks it's going to be relaxing. The Jaguar's Jewel (A -Z Mysteries) by Ron Roy The main characters are Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose. They find out that a jewel is stolen from a gold jaguar with ruby eyes! A detective and Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose track the robber down. Who did it? The Jaguar's Jewel is exciting and mysterious. Some parts are funny and surprising. My friends will love it! Her class is helping plan the wedding, but the wedding necklace is missing! This is the necklace that Miss Featherbottom was going to wear for the wedding. This book is fun, and it's part of the Owl Diaries series. It looks like a real diary inside. Reviewed by Chloe

The Ghoul in the Glossary (Secrets of the Library of Doom) by Michael Dahl A creature was pretending to b Mr. Yang. Ross and Star felt scared. Ross and Star took a book from the library, but it had no glossary. It had teeth marks on it! This book was scary, but not that scary. It was also a little weird. George's Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl George is a boy who disliked his grandma so he made medicine for her. She started to go up and freeze for a while. Then, she went back down and started to sweat, and she screamed a fire! I think others will like this book because it is hilarious. They use a lot of descriptive words, and so far it's a great book! The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate These are the main characters is Ivan, Ruby, Bob, Stella, Mack, George, and Julia. Ivan is a gorilla, and Mack is the owner of the mall that Ivan lives in. At the beginning of the book, Ivan has spent almost 27 years in his so-called domain, which is a cage with glass walls. I would recommend this book because it's exciting, and there's always something happening. There is also some humor. Her friends are going to bring cookies to school. Everyone wears costumes to school on Warm Hearts Day. Ava is so busy, she forgets to get gifts for her family. Oh, no!
