How mountains are made By Omera and Azuka

We used cocoa pop bars snapped and them into little pieces and little bits fell of just like in the description

We used tissue paper and a balloon. We blew up the balloon underneath the tissue paper. The balloon was supposed to be the lava and it resembled how a dome mountain was made

We used sand in a little container and a cup of water. We tilted the container to make a slope and then poured the water inside which washed the sad down and represented how the plateau mountains are made.

We used red paint as lava and tinfoil as the volcano. We put the paint bag under the tinfoil and squeezed it. The paint started to come out of the whole in the tinfoil like a volcano erupting.

Fold block mountains are when the earths crust cracks  into large pieces of rocks which makes some rocks go up while others go down to make the mountain.

Volcanic mountain are like dome mountains they only erupt. The magma comes up and it explodes. When it dries up it becomes solid. It will keep on erupting and as it dries up over time it will make another volcano.

These mountains are very similar to volcanic mountains. Lava from underneath which pushes up to make a dome shape at the top.

These mountains are made with the tectonic plates. When they crash into each other they start to fold up that’s why there called fold mountains.

This is what we did With different materials such as paper bread and cardboard. We used them as tectonic plates.We pushed them together and they rose up like mountains.

Plateau mountains are made when rocks crumble down making valleys.This is why they have lots of valleys.
