Bathing In the Sunlight

When he woke up he was so relieved. You should've seen his face. But he could still hear the crying so he went to go check on Xander and His mother Samantha was getting him ready for his nap. After he called Javier to tell him his crazy dream. When he was finished Javier said maybe he should see if he could go outside and when he went outside nothing happened. He was so happy that he was just dreaming because if he wasn’t dreaming he wouldn’t have known what to do.&nbsp;

     Kingston’s first published book, Baithing in the sunlight, has received high praise among his classmates for it strong language and way of writing. Kingston’s favorite character in the story is Darren because he is the main character and in this book he is putting Darren his shoes. His favorite page illustration is page 8 because he really loved the way his characters came out. Kingston is a lifelong reader whose literary interests include adventure, and thriller.&nbsp;His favorite book is Diary Of a Wimpy Kid.&nbsp;Kingston is Currently a student at Patrick Henry Math, Science, Technology Magnet Middle School who is studying to become a Coder and would like to attend college at Notre Dame.&nbsp;When not writing, Kingston enjoys playing catch with my dad, or doing homework.

     Complete silence. The phone cuts out and is as silent as an empty room. Darren had kept on yelling his name but nothing came out of the phone. That's when he heard Xander crying. He went to go check on him but he wasn’t there. That's when suddenly Darren woke up.

     As always, Darren was on the phone with his friend, Javier, (who he’s known since he was little)and as always, Javier was going on one of his rants about how we shouldn’t be inside and how the sun won’t hurt us. Then when Javier is done with his rant, he discusses his plan with Darren on how he’s going to go outside.

     Darren is scared for Javier because he has heard bad myths about going outside so, when Javier says he’s going to go outside Darren says “Can you stay on the call with me because I want to know what happens.”&nbsp;Javier agrees and starts the countdown “5, 4, 3, 2, 1, G…”&nbsp;

     One day there was a boy named Darren and just like everyone else, he wasn’t able to go outside. For some reason, the sun was very unhealthy for your skin and eyes, so you would have to be “hospitalized.”&nbsp;“We have been living like this for who knows how long. ”He lived with his loving mother “Samantha”, his little brother “Xander” and his working father “Connor”. Only workers could go outside and when they did they were obligated to wear armor to protect them from the Sun.
