Yorktown, Virginia (1781)
The General of the Patriots, George Washington, was a 49 year old who managed to make the British general surrender. The British general at the time was General Charles Cornwallis, he at the time was 43 years old. This surrender would lead to the victory of the patriots in the revolutionary war.
Battle Strategies and the importance of this battle
A very important and effective battle strategy that the Patriots used is guerilla warfare. Guerilla warfare is a strategy in which the attacker shoots and hides, preventing the enemy from seeing the shooter. This came very much in handy because the Patriots were greatly outnumbered. Their allies, the French used naval blockade which means they were in ships blocking the British ships.

Naval Blockade
This was perhaps the most important battle of the revolution. This battle was the last one indicating that the Patriots had won and were now an officially an independent country. They were now free of British rule and manipulation.
Final outcome, conditions, and African slave soldiers
The final outcome of the battle was that the Patriots defeated the British. This also meant that the colonies were now free from British rule and taxation.

Soldiers had poor diets, worn out clothes, damp shelters, and unsanitary conditions. The conditions for the soldiers were very poor.
