Chapter 1 What Golden Retrievers Look Like

Have you ever wandered what golden retrievers look like? For example golden retrievers have differents types of coats they can have straight and smooth coats. Golden retrievers can also have thick and curly coats.
Golden retrievers can also have different colors of coats too. They can have a dark brown, they can also have a bright goldish-yellow coat. Sometimes golden retrievers can have light brown coats too!
It is also important to know that golden retrievers can come in different sizes. They can be big and weigh 75 pounds, or they can be small and weigh about 25 pounds.

Chapter 2 What Golden Retrievers eat

Golden retrievers should be fed 2 times a day, so they get enough food. For example I feed my dog in the morning and after school. Dogs also need enough food so they don't start starving or get too full.
Golden retrievers love to get treats! There are tons of different types of treats. You need to feed your dog the right treats depending on how old they are. One way golden retrievers can get treats is by by doing tricks!
Golden retrievers need to be given the right amount of water. You should give your dog water twice a day in the morning and in the evening. You should give your dog extra water after you go on a walk, run or other activities.

Chapter 3 How Golden Retrievers Behave

Golden retrievers can act upset sometimes. For example my dog Crash gets upset when he isn't fed. You can tell they are upset or unhappy if they whimper a lot, or itch at one spot on their body. You should tell the vet if they itch alot because they might have gotten sick, they might have got bitten.
When golden retrievers act upset or unhappy, You can make them happy by taking them on walks or throwing a stick to them. Dogs love playing so activities will make your golden retriever happy.
Like humans dogs also need to use the bathroom too. One sign that your golden retriever needs to use the bathroom is for example if they start barking and staring at the door. After they use the bathroom you need to clean up after them for this you will need a trash bag and plastic gloves.

Chapter 4 How Golden Retrievers are Entertained

Golden retrievers are entertained sometimes and sometimes they aren't. Golden retrievers usually are most entertained when playing outside. One way you can entertain your dog is by throwing them a stick or a toy. If you have a stick you can play tug o, war with him.
Golden retrievers also don't like somethings. One example is when you leave to go shopping, another example is when you move to a new house, dogs do not like big changes!
If your golden retriever is feeling sad you can make him happy. One way is to teach them a new trick or try to get energy out by going on a short jog or walk.
