At the dawn of time, when the world was young and new, all the animals were all hard working well, all except for Python.
Throughout the jungle, Python was the only animal that did not work or hunt for food, he had animals to do that job for him. Gorilla with his huge fists and muscular body would hunt for food that Python could eat. He would then pass that food to Jaguar who would run to parrot with her amazing speed.

After that, Parrot would fly to Python on his branch. With her sharp beak, she would chop it up so that Python could digest its food These hard-working animals would do this 24/7- never stopping!
Once again, on a wet Wednesday morning, Parrot flew up to the Python with his second lunch, this time it was roast beef and pork chops.

As Parrot flew closer to Python, she realized that he was fast asleep. Making sure that she was not going to wake Python; she landed on a branch near by so that she could cut up his food.
When Parrot was going to fly off to collect the next meal, a sharp tooth descended into her right wing. “Oh my!” screeched the Parrot.

Python loosened his grip and shook Parrot out of the tree. “Nobody disturbs my sleep!” hissed Python.

As the day came to a end, Python was getting hungry due to parrot not being able to fly up to him with his food; he decided to slowly slither down the tree to find his food.

Eventually, Python found Jaguar sleeping, curled up. “Where’s my food?” hissed Python.

Startled, Jaguar leapt to his feet, “I…I…I’ll get you sum r…right n…n…now.” With that, Python whipped its tail and Jaguar fell down.
The next morning, Python felt like he was starving to death. So once again, he slowly slithered down the tree and found Gorilla. “Where is my food?” he snapped at Gorilla.

“You hurt my friends!” boomed Gorilla.
Angrily, Gorilla grabbed Python by the scruff of his neck, then opened his mouth fully, bent his jaw backwards and forwards several times and then stretched it so wide that it could swallow a deer.

“Now you have your own big mouth so you can swallow anything you like! So now, be gone!”

Python slithered as fast as he could in to the nearby plants, never to be seen again.
Since this day, Python has never asked anyone to do anything for him again and now is able to open his mouth wide to eat larger food. All the animals held a party to celebrate their freedom. Python never caught up for his two days of work and continued to work for himself .
