September - World Tourism Day

The theme of World Tourism Day 2021 is "Inclusive Growth Tourism". We want to emphasize the role that tourism has in creating opportunities for people around the world, people who build the tourism sector, all those involved in any way. On Padlet the students had to describe people associated with tourism and say why they are important for tourism growth.

1. Situations with guests - a discussion <a href="https://bit.ly/3EY3xav">https://bit.ly/3EY3xav</a> On Tricider page the students were offered various situations with guests. Their task was to choose some of the&nbsp;listed situations and answer how they would&nbsp;solve each situation. In addition, they could choose to like or comment on other students' answers.&nbsp;

The task for our students and teachers (if they wanted) was to use Lino canvas and write their opinions on what a good tourist offer should include, such as tourist products, places, facilities, etc. They could also include photos to illustrate their point.

October - A guide for working with guests

Students&nbsp;created guides in which they explained what working with guests is and gave tips on how to work with guests as best as they could. While creating the guides, the students were able to choose the digital tool to work with.

The task was to explore various jobs necessary during the guest's stay, information which should be provided to them and also services that will make them feel comfortable and welcome. They had to go on Jamboard and choose one of the tasks or all of them and tell us what they think.&nbsp;

February - Hotel reservations and records

For this topic the students designed various digital materials of their choice. They were very creative and resourceful, among other things they created mind maps, posters, an inquiry and an offer, and they also wrote a telephone conversation for booking accommodation.

April Questionnaires

The students had 4 links that led to Google documents where they needed to create a questionnaire together about the guest satisfaction. Their task was to choose one of the documents according to the colour they liked and wrote down the questions they would ask their hotel guests. The final result were the questionnaires that they have created and collaborated on as a team.

During this project&nbsp;students have learned a lot about tourism, a tourism&nbsp;product&nbsp;and offer, how to work with guests etc. by researching, communicating with each other&nbsp;and making various digital materials. The National Tourism Day&nbsp;in Croatia&nbsp;is celebrated on&nbsp;January 25th&nbsp;and&nbsp;in Turkey&nbsp;on Apil 15th. Students` task was to describe on Padlet some of the authentic souvenirs, pick out one tourist attraction/event or choose a famous Croatian or Turkish destination and tell us something about it.&nbsp;
