We had a turkey bowl at the end of the day on Friday before Thanksgiving break. We had a bowling competition using frozen turkeys instead of bowling balls and it was awesome! It was nice to do some team building as a part of the instructional staff.

Words by Sarah ClaytonLearning from others, especially getting to partner up with the BEST librarian. Ms. Dobbs has shown me what it means to truly collaborate. We do Broadcast, book club, and so many other things. I’m blessed to not only have an amazing role model, but equally blessed to have an awesome tech team.
P.S. this is us at Character Day in our Kate the Chemist costumes which is our current book club pick.

Words by Dr. Stacy BrannonAs a DLC, my heart still gravitates to innovating technology for our special education populations of students. Utilizing technology (ipad), student listens to the sound of the color and matches straws to the correct cup with the colored index card. Tapping into student’s sensory input needs and redirecting behavior while learning

Nepris, Toys & Research
Words by Chejuana Willis-Martin
I loved being apart of the planning and presenting of this lesson. 3rd Grade students had the opportunity to listen and speak with an authentic toy designer! The questions wouldn't stop and the presenter was so overwhelmed with the in-depth questions he offered to Zoom with us again. A great learning experience had by all!!!

1. Jayla was adamant she would NEVER give a TED talk - alas, she ended up being the first to volunteer
2. Legos are FUN for all
3. Friendsgiving full of laughter
4. Amir, one of my lunch bunch buddies
His most recent question: "My dad says we are made of clay. If we are made of clay - why aren't all of us gray?"
When he got glasses: "Now, I can see in HD"
