Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Smith!
On Saturday 1st June - two of our most loved members of staff tied the knot and got married at St Uny Church. Reverend Etienne officiated the ceremony and the church was full of friends, family and staff members who were there to share in their joy. The day was filled with joy, happiness and love and we could not be more delighted that Mr & Mrs Smith are now married.

School Council Fundraising
We are so proud of our School Council, who planned and held a non-uniform day in aid of their chosen charity before half term. The children raised an incredible £268 for Cancer Research UK - thank you so much to everyone who donated.

Year 6 Residential - London
Year 6 Visit London!
What a brilliant time our Year 6 pupils had in London this month! After a very early 6am start, the group travelled to London to spend three days exploring the city. Upon arrival to the big city, the children were in awe of the sheer size of the crowds and the buildings around them. They visited St Paul's Cathedral, where they took in the magnificent building before climbing to the top to gain a view of the city around them. This was a definite highlight for many of the group!

The residential trip continued with a delicious meal and a visit to the London Eye! The children absolutely loved their journey around the wheel and could not believe how far London stretched before their eyes! The group were also very surprised and excited when a procession passed before them, revealing the King! We think the King knew St Uny were in London and wanted to greet them personally - what an experience!
Year 6 Residential - London
After a jam packed first day and some sleep, the children continued to explore on day two. First stop - No.10 Downing Street! The group were granted very special access to the famous street and were able to stand right outside the door of No.10! Our Year 6 children have been learning about democracy and next week's general election so this was very exciting for everyone!
A museum visit and another delicious meal followed that evening before the group headed to the West End to see Matilda - The Musical! The children were captivated by the live performance and enjoyed every second of the show.

During the final morning, our Year 6s visited a Sikh Gurdwara and met members of the local Sikh community. The children have been learning about Sikhism in RE and this was a perfect opportunity to ask lots of questions. The sleepy group arrived home at 10pm - thank you so much to the brilliant staff who organised and led this trip - what an experience!
