In Strzelecki Park there is a building called Celestat (i.e. the shooting range from German Zielstätte), which historically has been the headquarters of the Brotherhood of the Rooster (Bractwo Kurkowe). Celestat is managed by the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków. You can see permanent exhibitions there: Kraków Brotherhood of the Rooster and municipal defence, and during the Christmas period an exhibition of Kraków Nativity cribs.

The shooter who managed to knock it down became the King of the Rooster for the whole year. This was connected with many privileges, such as exemption from taxes.
