Pre-Session Orientation Week

By the end of the REGISTRATION WEEK, participants will have:

watched a video to learn about the platform,
read the session syllabus,
filled in the needs assessment survey,
completed their profile,
choosen a screen recorder to create a video tutorial of the session layout.

By the end of WEEK 1,
participants will have:

attended (the recording of) the weekly Zoom meeting,
introduced themselves and added their

D-ID videos to a collaborative Padlet,

taken a 3-2-1 activity to share their background, familiarity with AI and expectations from the session,
choosen a screen recorder (Flip) to create a video showcasing the layout of the session,
got free accounts and discussed AI language models such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, Microsoft Bing for instruction and learning,
discussed what's involved in Prompt Engineering,
created a Padlet wall/Wakelet collection to curate their session course work.

watched a recording of the presentation: Journey of Words & answered reflection questions,
posted their AI images & reflected on how they could use them in class in a collaborative Padlet,
designed a lesson plan to integrate AI-generated art,
shared & socialized a lesson plan to integrate Ai generated art in a collaborative Padlet.

By the end of WEEK 2
participants will have:

Moonlit Love | Suno

I created this (cover) image,
using Bing Image Creator,
after creating my personal
GARDEN OF LOVE haiku:
Amour's splendour beams
Against the dark solitude
Rose kissing the Moon

I have transformed my AI-generated image into a video, using Runway.

Additionally, I have used Suno to create a song (based on my haiku lyrics).

I have used them all - the image, video, haiku, song - to inspire/motivate
my students' creative writing for
St. Valentine's Day. I like them all because they accurately depict me,
my poetic mood and haiku lyrics...
Plus, they radiate the feelings
of beauty and love,
something everybody can enjoy...
