What would happen if the company sold contaminated meat is that they would make people no longer want to buy there, because they sell bad meat or they would cause the person who bought the meat have a little trouble in their stomach.

They will also create a bad image to the public, so they should check what state the meat is in and thus be able to sell it without any problem.

If the company sells tainted meat the company would go down and it would be a bad reference. People would stop consuming from that company. It would have a bad image. If the company sold bad meat, the SSA would have given consequences to them.
