Military Macaws have homes in rain forests. They roam in the rainforests from Panana South to Brazil

How can I survive?
Palm trees have smooth trunks. This helps Military Macaws stay safe. Military Macaws survive from animals such as cats and reptiles. Many other animals can't climb smooth trunks.

What do I look like?
Military Macaws are large and are green red blue and yellow. They have short necks, large heads,and have a very long tail. They also have thick curved hard beaks, four toes, two feet. Two of their toes face forward two of their toes face backwards.

A male and female nest together. They make a nest by holes a dead tree. Females sit on the eggs in the nest so they can have a baby. During this time a male would hunt food. The male stores the food a pouch in his throat. When the eggs hatched both the parents take turns hunting and feeding the young.
