INTRODUCTION OF POETRY
One of the literary genre that convey the thoughts or feelings of the writer by arranging the words with a creative way.
The purpose of poetry is to express ideas, feelings and emotions. Poetry may be written as individual poems or included in other written forms as in dramatic poetry.

1. Stanza
Stanza is a group of lines of poetry.
2. Rhyme
Rhyme is words with the same ending sound.
3. Repetition
Repetition is words or lines that repeat.
4. Rhythm
Rhythm is the pattern of the sounds.
5. Imagery
Imagery is words that paint a picture in mind. Imagery consist of sight, smell, taste, sound, and touch.
