ABOUT OUR PROJECT
The idea of this project based on discovering other cultures, history , customs of partners' countries. Students gathered information about the partner's countries to make activities, presentations, videos and illustrations about other partners' countries.
Pupils got to know each other through (video meeting conferences , emails , chatting )
We focused on: general information, history of partner's countries , traditional music , traditional foods, famous characters etc.
Our prorities were to: enhance students' english language skills, to develop ICT tools and to open students' minds to over cultures

PROJECT AIMS

WORK PROCESS
October:
- Students introduce themselves in padlet wall, videos, twinspace profiles
- online meeting
November:
- creating logos and voting
- preparing presentation for partner countries
- preparing information about partners' countries
December:
- Christmas cards exchange
- online meeting before Christmas
- Students record traditional song for partner's countries and learn a few lines of songs in other languages
January:
- Literature acitvity. Students Choose a chapter from Harry botter story and it is read in 5 languages
February:
- Architecture and painting activities. Students upload famous works of arts and write short descriptions
March:
- Coronavirus Poster. Students drew letters of the motto. A common poster was created
-teachers designed a poster to raise awarness of Covid-19 in 5 languages and shared it with all students
April:
- quotations. Preparing famous quotations in our country with English equivalents
May:
- mind map for our counties. Students drew and made digital mind maps of their countries
- project students work on the common story called "Arjopotu - the Explorer". Our character Arjopotu travels to Jordan, Turkey, Armenia and Poland learning and discovering the wonders and tourist attractions of the project countries.
