All I know is that I can't love them.

Hello, I'm Mae, and I can't feel emotions.

I'm always the one being picked on. I'm always the one who gets laughed out when I can't do or say something right.

I keep on trying to ask others, over and over again they reject me and turn down my question to run away from me: "The Freak".

I always go home the same way everyday, but today, I went home later than usual.

I had a new idea for tomorrow,

And it only made it worse from then on.

I began to do things I'd hope I wouldn't do. I vandalized and ruined places, drawing ugly visuals on walls that belonged to them.

I stayed at the police station that night.

It was only me and a security guard, otherwise it was just empty.

When I got home the next morning,

my parents weren't very happy with me, and I got grounded.

As I served most of my time at home in my room, I thought to myself:

Was this worth it just for a bunch of emotions?

I began by apologizing, then made my way up to gifts.

Then I helped others in need, and I think I can come to the conclusion...

..that I can be happy by just giving to others. Even if I can't show it.

Thank you, for giving me a chance to show off my emotions by actions, even if it is the least I can do for everybody.
