I think that the cup with the tinfoil around it will stay warmest the longest, the cup with the bubble wrap will drop temperature slightly and the cup with nothing will drop temperature the quickest. 

Wrap one cup in tinfoil, one in bubble wrap and leave the other cup with nothing.

Add 250ml of boiling water into each cup. Use thermometer to record initial temperature. Set a timer for 6 minutes.

after 6 minutes is up record the temperature again. You can now continue this experiment further by adding 3 ice cubes to each cup. time again for 6 minutes and record final temperature.

Record all temperatures on a table to evaluate your results.

we wrote down our hypothesis, the control and the variable on a post it note before we began our experiment.

We checked the temperature of the 3 cups after 6 minutes.

Conclusion: Overall we found that tinfoil was the best insulator for the boiling water. Bubble wrap kept it partially warm and the cup with nothing went cold the quickest.<br/><br/>
