Chapter 9

Alex and Leila boarded the plane for Turkey Ankara Camlidere journey. They were very happy and excited to visit Hidden Paradise Çamlıdere and the Zero Waste City Kızılcahamam and see Çamlıdere Multi-Program Anatolian High School. Bigbelly Solar &nbsp; Alex and Leila noticed some interesting waste containers during the tour. They are called Bigbelly Solar. They are very smart. Chapter 6

After many adventures Alex and Leila landed in Poland. Poland greeted them with November weather: it was foggy, cool and raining. However, this is no reason not to discover new places! Polish children invite you for a short walk, because the weather does not spoil. Autumn in Poland is beautiful, but it can be cold. When playing in the yard, remember to wear warm clothes. But you have to start withsomething warm to eat! Friends from Poland - Kasia i Adam - invited Alex and Leila for hot tea and broth - one of the most favorite soups of Poles. It is prepared on the basis of meat and vegetables: carrot, parsley, celery, leek, onion and herbs. It's warming and delicious! You can drink it as a drink or with the addition of pasta. This soup is perfect for November weather. After the soup, we invite you for an apple cake prepared from Polish apples!

Chapter 1 Alex and Leila travel the world. After a long journey they arrive on a splendid island, in Sicily, in Caltanissetta (southern Italy). They make friends with the children of the primary school "L.Sciascia" who introduce themselves, their school and Sicily (Italy), through games and stories... After a day spent together, Alex and Leila propose to their new friends to join them to travel to discover Europe...

They returned to Camlidere again. They visited Çamlıdere plateau, which has the most endemic plant and insect species in Turkey and Europe. They visited the Tomb of Cabilli Dede, the world's first environmentalist. Cabilli Dede was a nature-friendly person who fed deer with his own hands centuries ago. It was very pleasant for Alex and Leila to walk in the pine forests.

Alex and Leila decided to take a trip to Ankara. As they had never been to the Turkish capital before, they visited many of the city's tourist sites, such as Kızılay Square, Hacı Bayram Mosque, Ankara Citadel, and many other places. Their next stop was Anıtkabir, the memorial tomb of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Although Alex had never visited a military site before, its impressive atmosphere made a deep impression on him. He wanted to learn more about the history and symbolism of this great monument, so he and Leila waited for a guide to take them on a tour. Finally, the guide arrived, and Alex and Leila joined a group of ten people to explore Anıtkabir. The group received a lot of useful information about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's life and the history of the Turkish Republic. They explored the vast expanse of Anıtkabir, examined significant moments in Turkish history, and paid their respects to Atatürk. Alex and Leila enjoyed their time at Anıtkabir, and they planned to remember this unforgettable experience as a special memory. Afterwards, Alex and Leila planned to explore other tourist sites in the city. Alex wanted to visit all of the significant places in the area as quickly as possible, but Leila preferred to take her time and enjoy each location more leisurely.

They wrote a letter to their friends who were affected the earthquake in our country.They made math material out of waste cardboard and organized acampaign to collect waste caps,oil,and batteries.We took the covers to the Spinal Cord Paralysis Association,they designed an earthquake resistant house.They participated in Lego Explorcompetitions,designed wind turbines ,solar panels,dams and lightning energy from Lego.We got the trophy

“Has the drought affected agriculture in Ghana?” asks Alex. “Yes, unfortunately droughts have affected livestock and crops, including corn, soybeans, and wheat.” replies Natalia. Nick describes how women have to walk for hours to collect water, which they carry back to the farm on their backs. “What they bring is not enough for their family,” he says. Asimina points out that the water from the river is dirty and sometimes makes them sick when they drink it.

Their first stop was Ankara Citadel, located in the district of Ulus. They explored the hills around the fortress and discovered beautiful views of Ankara. Next, they took a taxi to the Yeni Cami, an excellent example of Islamic art. Leila already had knowledge of the Islamic faith but had never visited the mosque before. Alex examined the intricacies and nuances of the building, while Leila listened to the azan call to prayer that depicted Islam. They then visited a local tea garden to enjoy a cup of tea. In the evening, Alex and Leila visited Kızılay Square and decided to find a restaurant serving traditional Turkish food. After conducting some research, they discovered that Ankara is famous for its delicious meat dishes and desserts and found an affordable restaurant offering these delights.

Panos stay with Alex behind the team and gave him a close envelope. “Please, &nbsp;do give &nbsp;this secret letter with information about the wild animal life in planet Earth to the students in Portugal, as soon as you and Leila got there, ok?” he whispered in him and rushed to the bus with the rest of the team. That surprised Alex but the mission of giving the secret letter should be accomplished. That was his promise to Panos. When all kids arrived in the Aquarium, half an hour later, they saw the manager heading to a beach near them with a turtle in his arms! All children were so excited with the sea turtle that without asking the teacher, follow him to the beach.

“Exactly, our teacher , Mrs Chrisa, has said that the sun is full of energy and solar energy comes from sunlight that reaches earth! Solar energy has been used by people for hundreds of years to cook food, keep warm, and to dry clothes. Today, it is also used to create electricity.
