We created a recipe book of our culinary traditions and celebrated the diversity that unites us!
Cooking and eating is common to all of us!
We cooked traditional savory and sweet recipes... with great joy!!!
We met cooking ingredients, worked as a team, and enthusiastically prepared sweets and foods from our countries!
We "wrote" the recipes in class and implemented them! We weighed the quantities, measured, and mixed the ingredients.
We have selected our favorites for you, and we hope you try them all!

Rice Pudding (Rizogalo)
1st Kindergarten of Kitsi /Maria Ponta - Greece
Serves 4-6 ⏰ Cooking time: 40 mins
Method

Put the water, rice, orange peels, cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to medium heat. Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
We strain.
Place the same pot on medium heat and add 700 gr. of milk, sugar and let it come to a boil.
In a bowl, put the rest of the milk, vanillins, corn flour and mix to dissolve the corn flour.
Put the rice, corn flour mixture, salt in the pot and mix with a whisk for 3-4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Remove the orange peels, cinnamon and divide into bowls.
Serve with cinnamon or orange zest.
Ingredients
1 liter of water
100 gr. glutinous rice
orange peels, from 1 orange
1 cinnamon stick
1 litre of milk
180 gr. crystal Sugar
2 vanillins
60 gr. corn flour
1 pinch of salt
For serving
cinnamon

Rice Pudding, (Rizogalo) is a traditional Greek dessert made with rice and milk. This easy to make Greek rice pudding is creamy, sweet, and topped with plenty of ground cinnamon.

It's one the whole family will love!
