Our Power Values

Our aim is for every child to leave with the power to make a positive change in the world. Through our subjects there are five themes that we believe are integral with teaching children how to become powerful adults.

We ensure that these themes run through our subjects. Children learn about 5 areas of power - Education, Religion, Resources, People and Legacy.

We have planned a high-quality physical education curriculum to inspire your child to succeed and excel in competitive sport and other physically-demanding activities. We want your child to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness.
Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.

We want to ensure that your child will
 develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities
 are physically active for sustained periods of time
 engage in competitive sports and activities
 lead healthy, active lives

Gross Motor Skills are developed through climbing higher, running faster and jumping further. Children will conclude movements within balances, stillness, spin, rock, slide and bounce.
Children will develop their overall body strength by themselves and with others.
Fine Motor Skills are developed through their pencil grip, threading, sewing, pouring, dancing with scarves, using spray bottles, dressing and undressing toys, caring for plants, making models with junk materials.
Children will further develop and refine a range of ball skills, including throwing catching, passing, batting and aiming. Children will be introduced to ball games with teams and rules.
