The UK is located to the north of Europe. It is close to tectonic plates (north), so there are lots of mountains. The tallest mountain in Ben Nevis in Scotland.

It's a jigsaw!

The British Isles are a jigsaw because of it's borders and nations. Remember: The British Isles is both Ireland and the UK. The UK is only Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. Great Britain is like the UK, but does not include Ireland.

This is because, when humans arrived, there was a disagreement in terms of land, trade, and religion.

Who are they?

Refugee: Some group of people (or person) who are forced migrate to another country because their home isn’t safe.
Invader: An organised army only moving to some land to claim it as their own.
Economic migrant: A regular migrant moving to another country because of a job offer/promotion.
Asylum seeker: A person who travels to another country for safety, and asks for permission to stay there.

Some examples of refugees are the Jews who came from all over Europe in 1938.

Some examples of invaders are the Normans who came to invade in 1066.

Some examples of economic migrants are Indians, Pakistanis, and Bangladeshis who came in 1956 looking for work.
