ABOUT OUR PROJECT
Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory
suggests that all people have different kinds of
intelligences and having one or more intelligences
dominant makes them "smart". In teaching English,
using different kinds of activities that refer to all
kinds of intelligences will enhance the motivation
and success of students. Taking this fact into
account, the project aims at teaching some 6th
grade topics in English course by using multiple
intelligences activities. Ss will be classified in
groups according to their dominant intelligences
and prepare activities regarding their intelligences
by using Web 2 tools. Moreover, there will be at
least 8 activities for each topic. It is also aimed at
developing all intelligences of students to some
extent with various activities.

Multiple Intelligences Test was applied both teachers and students to identify dominant intelligence. As a result of this test students and teachers took place in their teams.

Logos and Slogans of the Project were prepared by the students. Then they were voted to find the logo and slogan of the project.

A student in this group wrote a daily routine sentence of an imaginary character and other students continued adding sentences. After each student had written their sentences, then the sentences was scrambled and "Unscramble the Sentences" Activity was prepared on liveworksheets.com
