Danny and Ernie heard beautiful sounds coming from Ms. Brazowski's classroom, so they went in to see who it was. To their surprise they saw Sally!

"No matter what kind of note you are you can make a song," said Ms. Brazowski. "Come join us."

Then Sally went to Ernie the E, a very kind note with lots of friends. But Sally quickly found out they didn't sound very nice together either.

Sally was afraid because she thought she was too little to make a song, but then Sally remembered that all she would need was other notes.

So Sally went to the playground determined to make friends with other notes.

On Sally the Sixteenth Note's first day of school, she felt very scared. She was a D# and was very worried she wouldn't fit in.

Arnold heard the beautiful sounds and decided to come join in too. Soon all the notes heard the beautiful song and decided to join the group

The first note Sally saw was Danny the D. Sally introduced herself to Danny, but they found they just weren't alike.

Next Sally found Arnold the A who was very sad. But when Arnold met Sally, he became even sadder.

"No matter what kind of note you are, you can make a song" said Ms. Brazowski. "Let's see what we can do."

Finally, Sally and Bobby went to Ms. Brazowski for help

Sally and Bobby were so surprised because they sounded great but they were worried they still couldn't make a song because they were too small. 

But Sally's teacher, Mrs. Brazowski the Bb told her not to worry. She said, "no matter what kind of note you are, you can make a song."

Sally continued to sing all day. In fact, Sally was still singing when her mom came to pick her up from school.

The notes sang and whistled and cheered all together because they had never heard what they could all do with one another.

"It was great! I learned that no matter what kind of note you are, you can make a song."

So Sally and Bobby decided to approach the other notes on the playground.

But the other notes still didn't want to make a song with Sally. They still believed the sounds she made were no good.

Sally felt so lonely, and she started to cry. But Bobby the B heard Sally and thought, "I can help."
