You must make sure the magnet it set up to be north on one side and south on the other.


To do this, put 2 ceramic magnets on one side. Then pull them apart and put one on the other side (without spinning it around!)

1) Slide in the wooden base.
2) Attach the 2 axle holders
3) Slide in the axle and the wound coil
