Poland is a country located in Central Europe. Poland became a independent country in 1918. The country's that Poland borders are Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Poland's geography is flat with mountains along the southern border. Most of Poland's population is Christian. Poland is a part of the European Union.

For example the most popular sport in Poland is soccer. Many people of all ages love to play or watch soccer. The current captain of the Poland men's national soccer team is Robert Lewandowski. Over 400,000 people in Poland play soccer regularly, with millions more playing occasionally.
Another sport to play or watch in Poland is volleyball. The men's national national volleyball team is ranked 2nd and the woman's national volleyball team is ranked 26th in the FIVB World rankings. People of all ages like to play or watch volleyball.
