     The polish culture can be very interesting. Poland has some things that other countries do not have. For example the national flag of Poland has a stripe of white on the top and a stripe of red on the bottom. This has been used on the flag for centuries, before the 20th century. Polish Flag Day was established in 2004 and is observed on May 2nd. Another example of culture in Poland is polish folk costumes. Traditional polish folk costumes vary by region, but are typically brightly colored and decorated with embroidery. They are still worn sometimes on special occasions, like weddings.

     There are 32 letters in the polish alphabet. It has 9 vowels and 23 constants.

Poland is located in Central Europe. Poland's terrain has swampland, level terrain, hills, mountains, beaches, and lakes. The longest river in Poland is the Vistula. Rysy is the tallest point in Poland.

Poland is a country located in Central Europe.  Poland became a independent country in 1918.  The country's that Poland borders are Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.  Poland's geography is flat with mountains along the southern border.  Most of Poland's population is Christian.  Poland is a part of the European Union.  

There are many different food choices in Poland. Three very popular food choices in Poland are pierogi ( Polish dumplings ) , rosol (broth / chicken soup) , and golabki (cabbage roll). Pierogies are commonly filled with many different things. For example they can be filled with potatoes, cabbage, meat, cheese, or sweet fruits. Pierogies can be served with dips such as, sour cream, fried onions, butter, fried bacon, and mushrooms. Rosol is a very popular, traditional Polish meat soup. The main ingredients are chicken, broth, and noodles. People say this soup can help you when you are sick. Golabki are a meat and rice filling in cabbage with tomato sauce. The main ingredients are cabbage, pork, beef, onions, and rice. Golabki are often served during the Christmas season and on festive occasion.

     There are many places to visit in Poland.  For example, Warsaw is the capital and largest city in Poland.  One thing you can go see in Warsaw is the is the Presidential Palace.  Another thing you can go and see in the Copernicus statue.  Krakow is another city you can visit in Poland.  One thing you can go and see in Krakow is the Wieliczka Salt Mine.  A second thing you can visit in Krakow is the Dragon's Den.

     Over the years, Poland has changed in many ways. For example, their government started as a monarchy with King Boleslaw 1 the Great. Poland's government became a democracy in 1989. Their current president is Andrej Duda.

These are many different sports to play or watch in Poland. For example the most popular sport in Poland is soccer. Many people of all ages love to play or watch soccer. The current captain of the Poland men's national soccer team is Robert Lewandowski. Over 400,000 people in Poland play soccer regularly, with millions more playing occasionally. Another sport to play or watch in Poland is volleyball. The men's national national volleyball team is ranked 2nd and the woman's national volleyball team is ranked 26th in the FIVB World rankings. People of all ages like to play or watch volleyball.
