Twitch is a gaming live streamer platform where the streamers can make money. Twitch is also owned by Amazon. Twitch has been becoming more and more popular over the years since it has been out . Twitch has been out since 2011 and was made the official live streaming platform of the electronic entertainment on may 18th, 2014. The current most viewed game on twitch is Fortnite Battle Royale. On Twitch there are two ways to follow or subscribe to a streamer. The first way is to follow, which is completely free. The other way is to subscribe which can cost up to 5 dollars. Subscribing is basically following but you are supporting them more and the streamers will get notified and will see your name and most likely shout you out.

There are many ways to make money on Twitch, but it can be challenging. For example if you stream once a week than you won´t make that much money. To make money you have to stream every day. Your viewers give you money by donations which leads me to my next topic.

A normal donation is a way for the viewers to give a streamer money. How a donation works is first the viewer types ¨!donation¨ in the chat box. Then you want to click on the link that pops up in chat. Finally you will see a screen that asks you how much you want to donate and who you want the donation to be from. There is also another way to donate called bits, which leads me to my next topic.

Next you want to select the amount of bits you want to buy, each bit equals 1 cent so if you were buy 100 it would cost 1 dollar.
