Benjamin Oliver Davis, Jr.
When he was about 14 he took a ride in an open-cockpit plane with a pilot. Before they landed he Benjamin was determined to become a pilot when he was older. 
Benjamin Oliver Davis, Jr. is a African American who deserves his own stamp.
Davis was one of the first African American in the U.S. Air Force.
Benjamin was one of the first commanders for the Tuskegee Airmen.
During his later career Benjamin served in the military, both over seas and United States.
Benjamin was one of the first commanders for the Tuskegee Airmen.
 Throughout his career he received the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Army Distinguished Service Medal, an Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Philippine Legion of Honor.
Benjamin Oliver Davis, Jr. should be honored with a stamp because he was a role model for many other African Americans.
