My parents had gone on a date and it was my first time home alone. I was 13 and a young jumpy girl. Since it was my first time home alone I was very nervous and scared. We had no pets so there wasn't even that comfort. We lived in the middle of nowhere, we lived in the country. Our house was old creaky and quite creepy. I had spent 1 hour pacing around the house. My parents went out of town into the city. They weren't anywhere near me. My phone had died and the power was out. I had no neighbors and none of my friends were close. So I was utterly alone.
