Chapter 2 Cubs
Loading...
Polar bears can have up to 4 baby cubs a year but it's common for them to have two cubs a year. When they are first born, cubs are blind, toothless, and covered in a layer of fur. They begin their life about 25 centimeters long and weigh about 2.2 pounds. Cubs are extremely cute and can be about the size of a notebook but they grow quickly because of the momma bear's milk which is 31 percent fat.
